Wonhyoro
Baeksong is
a 500-year old tree that stands 10m tall and has
a 2m wide circumference at chest-height. It is
a three-leaved pine fro Northern China.
The tree is truly a rare species in that the bark
is shed every year, changing the tree's color
from gray to white. |

There are couple of Baeksong in Korea;
in Seoul, in Goyang and Ichon (Gyounggido), Milyang
(Gyungnam), Boeun(Chungbuk), Yesan(Chungnam),
so big ones among them has been chosen and cared
to be Natural Monument.
